Privacy & Cookie Notice
How BlueDrop handles your information and the cookies it uses.
What we collect
- Account details: your username, email address, name and company if you provide them, and your password (stored only in hashed form).
- Sign-in records: each successful or failed login attempt, with the time, your IP address and your browser type.
- Notifications: when your device reports receiving a push notification, and the notification content.
- Administrative changes: some actions taken by administrators are recorded with the administrator's account.
Why we collect it
To run your account, keep the service secure, show you the dashboard pages and alerts assigned to you, and let administrators support and review use of the system. We do not use advertising or analytics trackers.
Cookies and browser storage
- Sign-in session cookie (essential): keeps you signed in. It is not readable by page scripts and lasts up to 30 days.
- Translation cookie (
googtrans): remembers the language you pick for page translation.
- Browser storage: your language, time zone view and notification-prompt choices are kept in your browser, and a short flag remembers that the intro video has played.
Google services
Some pages use services provided by Google, which may set their own cookies and collect technical information under Google's own policies:
- reCAPTCHA on the login, registration, password reset and support pages, to block automated abuse.
- Google Translate, if you translate a page.
- Sign in with Google, if you choose that option.
